This 20 minute walk through of "Too Noisy Pro's" main features is designed to give new users a good overview of the apps main features and functionality. We recommend using the basic settings first and then as you get more familiar with how the app works start switching on the more advanced options.

Threshold settings, when used in conjunction with "Sensitivity" and the "Dampening" settings give the Teacher a lot of control over how the app responds to classroom noise.

Using the Sensitivity and Dampening Presets can simply setting the app up in a classroom situation. Once you have determined the optimum settings for various classroom activities (with differing levels of tolerable noise) it only takes one tap to set them again. A great time saver for a busy teacher!

The Star Awards are core to the Functionality of the Pro version of the app. We explain how to use them in "Achievement Mode" in this video.

Star Awards Session Mode is great for when you want to control Class Noise for a predetermined amount of time. There are several options available to the Teacher in this mode. I am using "Too Noisy Pro" on a Multi-touch panel in this tutorial.

Being able to automatically calibrate the app at the beginning of a session can be a great time saver, as well as increasing its accuracy. This is the latest feature to be built into the Pro version.

The Alarm Counter records the number of times the "Alarm" has been triggered. This is a great way for the teacher to keep track of the number of Alarms that have been generated during a session. A useful tool if the teacher needs to leave the class for a few moments!

The dial and background themes in "Too Noisy Pro" help keep the students engaged. There are specific themes for the time of year such as "Halloween" and "Christmas" as well as different themes for different age groups. There are actually 120 different dial and background theme combinations...with more to come!

One of the most popular features of the "Pro" version of Too Noisy is the Audible Alerts. Students get immediate feedback if they are being "Too Noisy" without the Teacher having to intervene. There are 6 different sound effects to choose from, and the length of time the sound effect pays for can be adjusted. The volume is controlled via the normal volume control on the PC/MAC.

The screen cracking effect is just a bit of Fun really. We think it is most effective if used sparingly, so it comes as a surprise to the students when it is triggered.
